What will you be responsible for?

In the role of Accounts Receivable Analyst you will be working on


  • Collection of Payment processor statements and reconciliation of AR. Maintain relationships with payment processors to ensure quality and consistency of data.
  • Matching bank receipts to AR and responsibility for Customer sub-ledger, participation in monthly closing
  • Issuing AR invoices (including intercompany) and registering them into the ERP system (Dynamics 365)
  • Reconciliation of the Customer sub-ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
  • Participation in monthly closing, preparation of accruals schedules, reconciliation and aging of customer accounts, maintaining close relationship with the Controlling & Accounting team
  • Preparation of business systems reconciliations to the ERP
  • Preparation of audit evidence, strong participation in the external and internal audit process
  • Financial analysis of Revenue and receivables, variance analysis of actual results against forecasts. Preparation of monthly, weekly and ad-hoc financial reports
  • Participation in various ad-hoc projects

Requirements

Key qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable & billing function with strong attention to detail
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Economics is an asset, other qualifications are a plus
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel with an affinity for learning new systems 
  • Ability to work in a fast moving, dynamic team environment
  • Understanding of accounting principles and applications
  • E-commerce industry knowledge is a plus
