Finance IT Project Manager

Job description

This position has a key role in driving the accuracy, automation, consistency and controls supporting the accounting and finance functions and their rollout on a global level.

This is a fixed-term contract for 8 months. 


What you will really be doing

  • Develop project plans and manage internal and external resources to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects that meet the stated objectives
  • Drive the resolution of complex issues involving the consistency and accuracy of data within business systems
  • Understand the interrelationship between key business, accounting and finance systems 
  • Maintain the integrity of the Group ERP (D365) and other financial systems 
  • Ensure audit compliance for our systems and processes
  • Support the annual IT and Financial audits as needed
  • Assist with reporting requirements as needed



  • 5 plus years of financial and IT experience preferably in a Tech/FinTech company
  • Understanding of revenue recognition concepts
  • Fluent in English; French/German/Hungarian a plus
  • Comfortable working in cross functional teams
  • Solid analytical skills
  • Good data management and strong Excel skills
  • Project management certification/degree is required
  • Ability to communicate results to both finance, IT and business managers in a credible and influential manner
  • Ability to maintain a strong level of attention to detail
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads and successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to understand and identify financial and IT issues in an environment of rapid change
