We are currently looking for a Group Reporting Accountant to support our rapidly growing and evolving businesses in our Luxembourg office located in Kirchberg.

What you will really be doing

Under the supervision of the Group Consolidation Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the intercompany administration and group reporting processes.



  • Administering the loan portfolio of the Group and computing loan interests
  • Monitoring the intercompany reconciliation process
  • Preparing quarterly intercompany journal entries and ownership of the process to settle intercompany balances in the consolidation tool
  • Acting as a team member for maintenance of the intercompany tool and group closing calendar
  • Communicating with stand-alone accounting teams and providing feedback
  • Supporting the company’s mission, vision, values and goals in the performance of daily activities

Group reporting:

  • Close collaboration with local accounting teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of Group Reporting delivery
  • Review of local figures and resolution of issues together with the local accounting teams
  • Participating in the preparation of complete and accurate consolidated figures and reports prepared under Lux GAAP in accordance with established reporting deadlines, including:
  • Assisting in the preparation of working papers and various reports underlying the consolidation figures for the external audit purpose
  • Participating in the Group analytical review of consolidated figures and variance analysis on specific accounts
  • Participating in the development of accounting processes and internal controls, documentation of policies, procedures and workflows for assigned areas of responsibility
  • Assisting in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and other consolidation requirements
  • Collaborating with local accounting teams in Hungary, the USA, Luxembourg and other locations
  • Participating in various ad-hoc projects


  • Strong knowledge of consolidation methodologies and software
  • Three-four years of experience in reporting/accounting within a multinational company
  • Flexible and open-minded
  • Intercompany experience is a must
  • Fluent in English—any other languages are an asset
  • Excellent computer skills and solid understanding of accounting software principles
  • Good attention to detail
  • A self-starter attitude
  • The candidate should be able to work on conflicting priorities, be proactive and be self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and take on new tasks with high level of difficulty
