With us you will...

  • People Management – Lead, define, develop, manage and continually improve Mainstream Services (35 FTE) with Team Leaders, Supervisors and a Department Leader.
  • PMO Management - Lead, define, develop, manage and continually improve the Project Management Office and using the appropriate frameworks and methodologies, in alignment with Group PMO, to ensure the effective delivery and control of the Core Projects.
  • Post Implementation Review- Accountable for ensuring all deliveries are reviewed at key points and when completed – ensuring all lessons learned are properly understood, owned by the correct areas of the company and produce real benefit to future projects and programs.
  • Management reporting- Develop and manage the effective delivery of the Project Portfolio reporting and meeting cadence including the analysis and onward business engagement to the Head of the Organization to enable effective decisions/actions to be undertaken.
  • Team development- Manage and develop our Mainstream Services with strong leadership, strategic direction.
  • Leadership - Empower and inspire others to deliver successful projects and ensure effective stakeholder management/engagement.
  • Strategy development - Ensure alignment of delivery options to the commercial and IT strategies.
  • Stakeholder Management - Coordinate stakeholder engagement and communication, ensuring effective timing and interdependency management of communications across programs and projects.


What we expect from you...

  • You must have exceptional planning skills for this role and have a proven track record of delivering success at a senior level within a PMO/Portfolio Office.
  • Proven experience of being able to work within a formal methodology and/or project management framework yet still provide flexibility and agility in the influence, negotiate and assure the evolving and changing needs of the business.
  • Substantial experience leading strategies for the effective mitigation or avoidance of delivery risks and issues that impact enterprise wide.
  • Efficiently establishes an appropriate course of action for self and/or others to accomplish a goal.
  • Actions lead to total task accomplishment through concern for quality in all areas. Sees opportunities and takes the initiative to act on them. Understands that responsible use of resources maximizes our impact.
  • Open to change and flexible in a fast-paced environment. Effectively adapts own approach to suit changing circumstances or requirements. Reflects on experiences and modifies own behavior. Performance is consistent, even under pressure. Always pursues continuous improvements.
