Advise on HR related matters (employment relationship, working permit, working hours, disciplinary actions, staff delegation, etc.) and draft related documents (employment contracts, disciplinary letters; internal policies, legal analysis and charter of values). Identify proactive solutions that will eliminate or mitigate risks for the Company.
Handle litigation procedure/proceedings at lower courts and plead them where relevant (payment order, civil and labour requests).
Draft, negotiate and/or review broad array of contracts inclusive of product purchase, services agreements, distributor, reseller, technology partner, leases, and other sales, commercial or real estates related agreements.
Draft various notice letter, dunning letters, demand letters, termination letters, claims, reply letter to clients’ claim, criminal complaint to the police/public prosecution.
Support the drafting and negotiation of other agreements including NDAs, supplier/vendor agreements, technology partner agreements, software development and/or service agreements of any kind (intragroup related or else), B2C T&Cs, as needed.
Advise and assist various internal stakeholders and/or departments in development and maintenance of standard contract terms and conditions in line with consumer law provisions and to address any legal or administrative related queries in a proactive manner.
Advise on risks and liabilities of proposed commercial transactions and devise creative and practical legal solutions to meet business objectives.
Keep abreast of applicable laws, regulations and industry guidance that impact commercial agreements.
Liaising, interacting with authorities regarding legal matters, interaction and/or coordination with notaries and external counsels.
Developing and improving corporate policies and procedures. Ensure contracts comply with all relevant policies and procedures.
Any other related tasks that may be assigned by supervisor or direct line manager.
We’d love to meet someone with
Relevant professional experience. In particular a combined experience of both law firm and in-house practice (at least part of it in Luxembourg) would be an asset.
Luxemburg BAR admission needed
Ideal candidate with legal proficiency as regards Labour, Consumer, Civil, Commercial and Criminal laws and sound knowledge of the Luxembourg and EU legislative environment and procedures
Ideal candidate has some exposure to US legal system (LLM, traineeship or experience gained there)
Ideal candidate with excellent drafting skills
as regards reports, legal opinions, agreements in his/her field of expertise.
Must be able to demonstrate strong attention to details, good judgment/legal reasoning
Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving and good follow-through skills with successful pattern for meeting tight deadlines
Capability to work independently, as part of a team and also cross-department
with a client oriented approach

Confident, self-starter and ability to operate and thrive in a high-paced, changing work environment.
Flexibility and willingness to work on a broad variety of contracts and related matters
Being available to take ownership of various assignments with limited supervision when necessary
