Tax Compliance Manager

Job description

As a Tax Compliance Manager, you will support the group in all tax compliance and advisory matters and work with other teams within Finance department. This is a newly-created role which reports directly to the head of tax for the group. You will have oversight and responsibility for all Luxembourg entities, as well as group entities worldwide. Your Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of Luxembourg corporate tax returns, the calculation of tax provisions, review of tax assessments, WHT returns, and analysis of tax assessments
  • Tracking of filing obligations and payments
  • Financial data analysis; support IT enabled reporting; handling electronic filing of tax returns
  • Be the contact person for the Luxembourg tax authorities
  • Be a key contact person for Luxembourg entities within the group regarding income tax related queries
  • Be part of ad hoc projects
  • Perform tax risk analysis and advisory

Requirements

  • Degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, Business preferable
  • Chamber of Commerce Cycle B Diploma (International Tax and Corporate income taxes Diploma)
  • At least 4 years of previous experience preparing and reviewing income tax returns for Luxembourg Soparfi, operational, and IP companies (Form 500, Form 506A, Form 750), and WHT returns (Big 4 experience is an advantage)
  • Skilled in Luxembourg and international (IFRS / US-GAAP) accounting principles
  • Willingness to learn and master tax compliance matters in foreign jurisdictions where the group has reporting obligations
  • Accounting background is a plus
  • Likes to work in a highly dynamic & international environment.
  • Fluent in English, French considered an asset
